Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit Details

  • Age Limit: There is no age limit for appearing in the JEE (Main) - 2027.
  • Year of Passing Qualifying Exam: Candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2025, 2026, or are appearing in 2027 are eligible to apply. Candidates who passed in 2024 or earlier are not eligible.
  • Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech): Passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.
  • Paper 2A (B.Arch): Passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • Paper 2B (B.Planning): Passed 10+2 with Mathematics.

How to Fill NTA JEE Main Session 1 Online Application Form 2027

  1. Visit the official NTA JEE Main portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  2. Step 1 (Registration): Complete registration via DigiLocker / MeriPehchaan or using Government ID authentication to obtain your system-generated Application Number.
  3. Step 2 (Application Form): Log in to enter personal details, choice of papers, choice of 4 examination cities, and educational details.
  4. Capture Live Photo & Upload Documents: Capture a clear live photograph using webcam, upload scanned passport photograph (10–200 KB), signature (10–100 KB), and Class 10 marksheet/certificate (50–300 KB PDF).
  5. Step 3 (Fee Payment): Pay the prescribed category fee online via Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.
  6. Step 4 (Download Confirmation Page): Verify all fields in the final preview, submit the form, and download the Confirmation Page for future reference.
