Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria
To receive the benefit of the doubled scholarship under Bihar Chatravriti Yojana 2026, students must fulfill the following conditions:
  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
  • Must be enrolled and regularly studying in Class 1 to Class 10 in a Government School in Bihar.
  • Must belong to reserved categories: Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Backward Class (BC), or Extremely Backward Class (EBC).
  • Mandatory minimum attendance (as per school rules) is required.
  • Note: Private school students are not eligible for this scheme.
