Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident farmer of Bihar state .
  • The farmer must be registered on the DBT Agriculture Bihar Portal (having a valid 13-digit Farmer Registration Number) .
  • Both Raiyat (Landowners) and Non-Raiyat (Sharecroppers / Tenants) are eligible to apply .
  • The benefit will be granted to farmers belonging to districts/blocks officially notified as drought-affected by the Bihar Government .
  • Only 1 member per farmer family is eligible to receive the subsidy .

  2. Aadhaar Card (linked with active mobile number) .
  3. Residence / Domicile Certificate of Bihar .
  4. Aadhaar-seeded Bank Account Passbook (for DBT payment) .
  5. Digital / Computerized Diesel Purchase Receipt: Receipt must explicitly display the last 10 digits of the farmer's registration number and must bear the farmer's signature or thumb impression . Hand-written receipts will be rejected .
  6. Land Ownership Proof (LPC / Khatiyan / Recent Land Tax Receipt) for Raiyat farmers .
  7. Self-Declaration Form / Sharecropper Affidavit (downloaded from portal) attested by Ward Member / Agriculture Coordinator for Non-Raiyat farmers .

How to Apply Online for Bihar Diesel Anudan 2026

  1. Visit the official portal of Agriculture Department, Bihar: dbtagriculture.bihar.gov.in .
  2. Under the "Online Services (ऑनलाइन सेवाएँ)" menu, click on the link "Apply for Diesel Subsidy (डीजल अनुदान आवेदन)" .
  3. Select your farmer type: Raiyat, Non-Raiyat, or Raiyat + Non-Raiyat .
  4. Enter your 13-digit Farmer Registration Number and click on Search .
  5. Your registered details will automatically appear on the screen .
  6. Fill in crop details (Paddy Nursery, Standing Crop, Jute, etc.), irrigated area (in Acres), pump set details, and diesel purchase details .
  7. Upload the scanned computerized diesel purchase receipt (bearing your registration number and signature) .
