Step 1: ITI candidates must register on the NAPS portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and Degree/Diploma candidates must register on the NATS 2.0 portal (nats.education.gov.in) and complete 100% profile.
Step 2: Obtain your 16-digit/enrolment registration number from the respective apprentice portal.
Step 3: Go to the official POWERGRID website (www.powergrid.in) -> Careers -> Engagement of Apprentices -> Apply Online between 25/08/2026 and 10/09/2026.
Step 4: Ensure your Aadhaar is seeded/mapped with your active Bank Account for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Step 5: Fill in all required basic personal details, educational qualifications, marks percentage, and upload necessary scanned documents (Photo, Signature, Marksheet, Caste Certificate, Cancelled Cheque/Passbook).
Step 6: Candidates can apply for only ONE region/state/trade. Multiple applications will be summarily rejected.
Step 7: Before final submission, preview the application form thoroughly and take a clear printout for document verification.

No written exam or interview will be conducted; selection is purely merit-based.
Candidates possessing more than 1 year of work experience or who have already completed apprenticeship training are NOT eligible.
Apprentices will get an additional ₹2500/- per month as HRA if company accommodation is not provided.
