Selection Process & CBT Examination Scheme

  • 1st Stage CBT (Screening Test): 90 Minutes duration, 100 Questions (General Awareness: 40, Mathematics: 30, General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30). Negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer.
  • 2nd Stage CBT: 90 Minutes duration, 120 Questions (General Awareness: 50, Mathematics: 35, Reasoning: 35). Candidates shortlisted equal to 15 times the vacancy.
  • Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): Applicable only for Station Master & Traffic Assistant. Shortlisted at 8 times vacancies; requires minimum T-score of 42 in each battery.
  • Typing Skill Test (CBTST): Qualifying nature for Senior Clerk cum Typist and Jr Accounts Assistant cum Typist (30 WPM English / 25 WPM Hindi).
  • Document Verification & Medical Exam: Conducted for 1:1 ratio based on normalized merit scores.
