  • Pharmacist (Entry Grade): 20 to 35 Years (Born between 02.01.1992 and 01.01.2007 for UR/EWS).
  • Audiologist & Speech Therapist: 21 to 30 Years (Born between 02.01.1997 and 01.01.2006 for UR/EWS).
  • Radiographer X-Ray Technician: 19 to 33 Years (Born between 02.01.1994 and 01.01.2008 for UR/EWS).
  • Dialysis Technician: 20 to 33 Years.
  • ECG Technician, Optometrist, Lab Assistant Gr-II, Health & Malaria Inspector Gr-II: 18 to 33 Years.
  • Age Relaxation: SC / ST: 5 Years | OBC (NCL): 3 Years | PwBD (UR): 10 Years | PwBD (OBC): 13 Years | PwBD (SC/ST): 15 Years | ExSM & Railway Staff as per extant rules.

Post-Wise Educational Qualification (As on 14/10/2026)

  • Nursing Superintendent: Registered Nurse & Midwife having passed 3 years course in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from an Indian Nursing Council recognized school/institute OR B.Sc Nursing.
  • Pharmacist (Entry Grade): Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a Central/State recognized University/Institute OR Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) and registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
  • Health & Malaria Inspector Gr-II: B.Sc. with Chemistry as Main/Optional subject PLUS (a) 1-year Diploma in Health/Sanitary Inspector OR (b) 1-year NTC in Health Sanitary Inspector from NCVT.
  • Lab Assistant Gr-II: 12th (Science stream) PLUS Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) of minimum 1-year duration OR B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT).
  • Radiographer X-Ray Technician: 10+2 with Physics & Chemistry PLUS 2-year Diploma in Radiography / X-Ray Technician / Radiodiagnosis Technology OR B.Sc. in Radiography / Radiation Technology.
  • ECG Technician: 10+2 / Graduation in Science PLUS minimum 1-year Certificate / Diploma / Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology / Cardiology Techniques from a recognized institute.
  • Dialysis Technician: B.Sc. PLUS Diploma in Haemodialysis OR 2 years experience in Haemodialysis (B.Sc. Renal Dialysis / Dialysis Technology is also acceptable).

Recruitment Process & CBT Exam Pattern

  1. Single Stage Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective type Multiple Choice Questions (100 Questions, 100 Marks, 90 Minutes; 120 Minutes for eligible PwBD candidates using scribe).
  2. Marking Scheme: Negative marking of 1/3rd mark for every incorrect answer.
  3. Document Verification (DV): Shortlisting in 1:1 ratio based on merit in CBT.
  4. Medical Fitness Examination: Conducted by Railway Administration as per prescribed standards (B1, C1, or C2).

  2. Click on "Apply" > "Create an Account". If you already created an account for previous RRB CENs (2024/2025/2026), log in using your existing credentials.
  3. Authenticate identity via DigiLocker or electronic verification for seamless validation.
  4. Fill in the online application form, select ONE RRB, and indicate priority preferences for Railway Zones and posts.
  5. Capture a Live Photograph directly using webcam/mobile front camera (wearing dark non-white clothes, no caps/glasses) and upload signature (JPG/JPEG, 30–49 KB, black ink on white paper).
