Detailed Eligibility Criteria |
- School Students (Class 9-12): Minimum 75% marks / 7.5 CGPA in previous year. Family annual income ≤ ₹3,00,000.
- Undergraduate (UG): Minimum 75% marks. Family income ≤ ₹6,00,000. Must be studying in Top 300 NIRF or NAAC ‘A’ & above accredited institutions.
- Postgraduate (PG): Minimum 75% marks. Family income ≤ ₹6,00,000. Must be pursuing PG in Top 300 NIRF or NAAC ‘A’ accredited institutions.
- Medical Students (MBBS): Minimum 75% marks. Family income ≤ ₹6,00,000. Pursuing MBBS at AIIMS or Top 50 NIRF Medical Colleges with a valid NEET scorecard.
- IIT Students: Minimum 75% marks. Family income ≤ ₹6,00,000. Currently studying at one of the 23 IITs with a valid JEE Advanced scorecard.
- IIM Students: Minimum 75% marks. Family income ≤ ₹6,00,000. Currently studying at one of the 22 IIMs with a valid CAT scorecard.
- Overseas Studies: Indian Nationals pursuing PG or higher programs at QS Top 200 Universities. Minimum 75% marks. Family income ≤ ₹6,00,000 with a valid GRE/GMAT/MCAT/LNAT/LSAT scorecard.
- Key Relaxation & Reservations: 10% marks relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD candidates (minimum 65% or 6.5 CGPA). 50% of total scholarship slots are reserved for female applicants.

- Government-issued Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card).
- Recent passport-size photograph of the applicant.
- Family Income Proof (Income Certificate / Salary Slips / Form 16A).
- SBI Bank Account Passbook (Having an active SBI Bank account is mandatory for shortlisting).
- Admission Proof / Bonafide Certificate and current academic year fee receipt.
- Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC applicants).
- Category Scorecard / Offer Letter (NEET, JEE Advanced, CAT, GRE, GMAT, etc., where applicable).

Selection Process |
- Initial shortlisting based on academic merit and family income criteria.
- Telephonic Interview of shortlisted applicants.
- Document Verification by SBI Foundation authorities.
- Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) of scholarship funds into the student's SBI Bank Account.
