 Eligible Indian Citizens can register online between 07 August 2026 and 27 August 2026 . Candidates can apply for one state only and must be proficient in the specified local language of that state . The Preliminary Examination is tentatively scheduled for September 2026, and the Main Examination for October/November 2026 .

Educational Qualification (As on 31.12.2026)

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent .
• Integrated dual degree (IDD) holders must possess the passing certificate by 31.12.2026 .
• Candidates in their final year/semester of graduation are also eligible to apply provisionally. If selected, they must produce proof of passing graduation on or before 31.12.2026 .
• Note: No provision for Inter Circle Transfer / Inter State Transfer for Junior Associates .

Selection Process (Exam Pattern)

• Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (100 Marks, 1 Hour)
  • English Language (30 Qs, 30 Marks, 20 mins)
  • Numerical Ability (35 Qs, 35 Marks, 20 mins)
  • Reasoning Ability (35 Qs, 35 Marks, 20 mins)
  • Objective Tests; separate timing for each test; 1/4th negative marking .

• Phase-II: Main Examination (200 Marks, 2 Hours 40 mins)
  • General/Financial Awareness (50 Qs, 50 Marks, 35 mins)
  • General English (40 Qs, 40 Marks, 35 mins)
  • Quantitative Aptitude (50 Qs, 50 Marks, 45 mins)
  • Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude (50 Qs, 60 Marks, 45 mins)
  • Objective Tests; separate timing for each test; 1/4th negative marking .
  • Note: Main examination marks consider for preparation of final merit list .

• Phase-III: Local Language Proficiency Test (Qualifying)
  • Tests proficiency in opted local language of the State applied for (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Understanding) .
  • Note: Candidates producing 10th or 12th marksheet/certificate of opted local language need not undergo this test .

Guidelines for Scanning Photograph & Signature

• Photograph: Passport size color picture, light background. Dimensions: $200\times230$ pixels preferred, Size: 20kb-50kb . Live photo capture via webcam or mobile is required during application .
• Signature: On white paper with Black Ink pen. Dimensions: $140\times60$ pixels preferred, Size: 10kb-20kb .
• Left Thumb Impression: On white paper with black or blue ink. Dimensions: $240\times240$ pixels in 200 DPI preferred ($3~cm\times3~cm$), Size: 20kb-50kb .
• Hand-written Declaration: In English clearly on a white paper with black ink. Dimensions: $800\times400$ pixels in 200 DPI preferred ($10~cm\times5~cm$), Size: 50kb-100kb .
• Note: Ensure Photo, Signature, left thumb impression and hand-written declaration upload at the specified spaces .

3. Register yourself first to get your Registration Number and Password .
4. Log in and fill out the detailed application form accurately .
5. Scan and upload the required documents as per guidelines (Photo, Signature, Thumb, Handwritten Declaration) .
6. Pay the requisite application fee online if applicable .
7. Preview the full application and check all details before final submission .
8. Take a printout of the submitted application form and fee receipt for future reference .
