SBI SCO IT Risk Recruitment 2026: State Bank of India (SBI) Central Recruitment & Promotion Department (CRPD), Corporate Centre, Mumbai invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for engagement to the Specialist Cadre Officer posts on Contract Basis under Advertisement No. CRPD/SCO/2026-27/22. The posts offered are Deputy Vice President (IT Risk) and Assistant Vice President (IT Risk). Online registration and fee payment can be completed from 16 September 2026 to 06 October 2026. Educational Qualification & Experience Details (As on 31.08.2026)

• Basic Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech (Computer Science / Electronics & Communications / IT / Cybersecurity) with min. 50% marks OR MCA / M.Sc (Computer Science / IT) with min. 50% marks OR M.Tech in Computer Science / Cyber Security / Information Security with min. 50% marks from a recognized university.
• Preferred Certifications: Any one out of CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or CISA (must be valid and dated on/before 06.10.2026).
• Experience: Minimum 12 years in IT Domain, out of which minimum 6 years experience in IT risk management or information security is preferable.

• Basic Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech (Computer Science / Electronics & Communications / IT / Cybersecurity) with min. 50% marks OR MCA / M.Sc (Computer Science / IT) with min. 50% marks OR M.Tech in Computer Science / Cyber Security / Information Security with min. 50% marks from a recognized university.
• Preferred Certifications: Any one out of CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or CISA (must be valid and dated on/before 06.10.2026).
• Experience: Minimum 09 years in IT Domain, out of which minimum 5 years experience in IT risk management or information security is preferable.

Remuneration, Variable Pay & Contract Terms

• CTC Split: Annual CTC is negotiable (Fixed Pay: 80% and Variable Pay: 20%). No other perks.
• Variable Pay Criteria: Payable at half-yearly intervals (31st March & 30th September) subject to achieving minimum 90% in performance appraisal (99–100% score = 100% pay, 97–98.99% = 90%, 94–96.99% = 80%, 90–93.99% = 70%, below 90% = Nil).
• Annual Increment: Up to 7% of Annual CTC from 2nd year onwards subject to securing at least 90% in performance appraisal.
• Leave Entitlement: 30 days leave during the financial year.
• Termination / Notice Period: 3 months' notice from either side or surrender/payment of 3 months' compensation amount.

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting: Mere fulfillment of criteria does not entitle interview. A shortlisting committee determines cutoffs to call an adequate number of candidates.
2. Interview: Personal Interview carrying 100 Marks. Qualifying marks decided by the Bank.
3. CTC Negotiation: Held in order of the Merit list one by one. Refusal to agree results in voluntary exit, passing the offer to the next merit candidate.
4. Final Merit List: Prepared in descending order based strictly on marks scored in the interview. Common cut-off ties are broken by age (older ranked higher).
